The Parks and Recreation Department has begun renovations to the Morris Williams Golf Course. The projects at Morris Williams will accomplish two very important goals: to construct a new pro shop and cart barn with larger meeting space and food concession area, and to improve the golf course conditions and playability for the next 25 or more years. The construction project is expected to last 10 months. The golf course closed February 12th to begin course renovations and meet the optimum grass planting window in late May. The area surrounding Morris Williams offers significant future growth. The renovations of the facility are certainly long overdue.
